Commit to completing your Oral Assessment, the final step (except for administrative details) for you to become a Guild Certified Guide. The Oral Assessment is an opportunity for you to demonstrate your skills guiding tours and delivering commentary. Your evaluators will be Guild Certified Guides and Certified Master Guides, who will be the participants on your skills demonstration tour. The skills and qualities to be evaluated will be your guiding techniques, commentary, confidence, rapport with the group, and professional appearance.
You need to have completed Guild requirements to take the Oral Assessment (attended 6 business meetings and six education events, completed the Motor Coach Workshop, earned 25 participation points, and passed an on-line assessment). Participants will be given half-hour time slots between the hours of 10:00 am – 12:30 pm
